One Of These Days

November 2021 was supposed to be the month Øyvind Holm put out his new solo album,“The Unreliable Narrator”. The first single,“The Stranger”, was released to a lot of praise earlier this fall.
It is therefore with a heavy heart we now inform you that due to major delays in every part of the vinyl production chain, we have been forced to postpone the release date a bit. However, if things run smoothly from here on, we’re aiming for a mid-January release.
Thankfully, it’s not all bad news. Øyvind Holm still has a new single coming out in time for Christmas. And although the title may suggest otherwise, it is purely coincidental that the new track is called “One Of These Days”. It is not a song about waiting for vinyl records to arrive.
But, in an attempt to kill time while waiting, Holm wrote this exclusive, non-album track, and recorded it with his band mates over a two-day studio session in November.
With its atmospheric instrumentation, big harmonies and intertwining backing vocals, “One Of These Days” has turned out an epic piece of dreamy pop, that stretches out over seven minutes and three different parts.
We’re happy to release it on all digital platforms on Dec 3, as a pre X-mas treat for you all.
